About River Collective

River Collective was officially born in 2024 as the church planting journeys of Sam & Mica in Wellingborough and Mark & Maddy in Northampton joined together. The mission of River Collective is to be a movement of churches, joining with God to see lives transformed and regions renewed.

We have six currents that flow through River, they are who we are! These six currents inform all that we do:

We are a WORSHIPPING family, growing in passion and devotion to God.

We are a SPIRIT-EMPOWERED family carrying God’s presence in all of life.

We are a BIBLE-SHAPED family, raising people to know their God and the times.

We are an ADVENTUROUS family, embracing the Kingdom call to mission.

We are a GENEROUS family, living open handed with everything entrusted to us to see our communities blessed.

We are a DISCIPLE-MAKING family, seeing holistic transformation in every life.

Our churches are based in Northamptonshire, in Wellingborough and Northampton, but we have dreams of seeing expressions of River in every town in the region! Whilst both Wellingborough and Northampton has their own individual weekly rhythms, we come together on the first Sunday of each month for our River Collective gatherings.

As we have been joining with God we have been able to move into new spaces and places including Nepal and Nigeria. More information on each of these can be found below, so have a read!

We are so excited for what God is doing and for the adventure of joining with Him as we moved forwards. We would love for you to join the family and the adventure and we can’t wait to connect!

“…where the river flows everything will live” – Ezekiel 47:9

Nepal

We love to partner with what God is doing around the globe. Nepal has been a place where we are intentionally doing this as we connect with house churches in Katmandu and through out the Himalayas.

Nigeria

We are excited to have the opportunity to support Emmanuel in Ibadan, Nigeria. He runs a football club for local young people from both Muslim and Christian backgrounds. He has now started a monthly fellowship group for the footballers, where they read the bible together and pray. River Collective leaders meet regularly with Emmanuel to support and encourage him.
